Materials
Type 6/6 Nylon
is widely used in applications requiring high strength, chemical resistance and good electrical properties making it the ideal material for the majority of Heyco's molded products.
Heyco's standard nylon meets UL 94V-2 flammability requirements and is resistant to a wide range of chemical substances including acetone, ammonia, benzene, gasoline, and certain acids. In addition, flame retardant (UL 94V-0) and high temperature versions of most Heyco products are available.
Aircraft/Aerospace Application
Heyco Products Inc. has not been evaluated for compliance with Aerospace Standard AS/EN/JISQ 9100, and as such our products are not expressly declared to be suitable for such application. Colored Molded Products
Even though our standard colors are Black and White Heyco Products can custom color match our nylon dome plugs, snap bushings, and strain reliefs to match your product exactly.
Here's how it works:
Send us a color chip, a sample or an exact description of the color to be matched. We'll match it exactly at our color lab and send you back a color matched chip for approval. Once you approve the sample, we nylon mold the part using color concentrate - not dyes. After careful inspection, your custom color parts are ready for shipment. |
